The General Assembly of SA is the main governing structure. The GA consists of 46 members, which elects an Executive Committee with nine members in every two years. The board provides policy direction & guidelines and secretariat acts as implementer to ensure that SA is functioning within the overall policy framework in line with organizational vision, mission and objectives. SA has developed & implemented several policies such as personnel policy, financial policies, human resource development policy, procurement policy and operational policy.
Executive Board/Staff
The SA Executive Committee is the organizational governing body. It ensures effective and efficient implementation of policy guidance within the overall policy framework prescribed by the GA. The Executive Committee takes overall responsibility of programs operations of SA as and when necessary. The Executive Committee consists of nine elected members by the GA.
As SAMUHIK ABHIYAN is a volunteer organization itself; it is voluntarily run by the executive board, general and professional members. In addition to this, five staff have been recruited to perform its regular programs smoothly in the longer-term as core staff. Likewise, two full time and one part time project staff have been recruited at central level and nine field staff (three district coordinators and six Capacity Building Development Officers) have been currently recruited under the Innovative Fund and Capacity Development Program respectively to run these programs effectively in the field.
